This unit focuses on safe working practices and own duties relating to the stages of prosthesis and your role throughout. You must be able to demonstrate clinically that you adhere to current workplace procedures whilst ensuring your own practice is safe and within your own Scope of Practice. You will need to prove your skills and competencies when preparing and supporting during the different stages of fixed and removeable prosthesis and ensure your knowledge and behaviours reflect your underpinning knowledge and safe working practices, to keep yourself, your team, patients and the public safe. You will also be observed on a minimum of 2 occasions for this unit. Once you have completed your assignment , please arrange to complete a professional discussion with your assessor. It is recommended that a period of 2 weeks is taken to complete this assignment. Following your attendance at knowledge sessions, please use the first week to plan and recap your understanding before completing your evidence. |
