instructions and marking rubric which is super important- In the report there are 10 key indicators areas. These are: Work effectively with children Work together with children and families/educators to provide an effective program Design appropriate experiences based on an understanding of children’s developmental stages Design and implement activities for children that promote their wellbeing Implement a play curriculum for the children Evaluate and reflect on implemented experiences Ability to support pedagogical practice Identity and evaluate a range of strategies to support expressive activities for children Early Childhood context Critically reflects on the importance of physical activity for the sensory motor child and plans accordingly (Please note: under each of the key indicator there are some sub criteria in the report, mainly you have to address those during your time in placement) Part 1: In this task, you are required to write your own reflection against these key indicators. Using feedback from your mentor teacher for each key indicator area, you will need to evaluate your practice by identifying strengths and areas for improvement. You need to make links to relevant literature to support your evaluation, including the NQF and EYLF. Part 2: You will have to provide mentor report (or professional experience report) including signature of mentor teacher with his/her feedback in the bottom of the report (into strength and improvement area). Part 3: Think about what steps you might need to take to continue to develop the indicators in the future. Write a plan for your future practice as a consequence of your evaluation and feedback from your MT. Assessment criteria: Self-reflection includes critical discussion of key indicators by identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Evaluation shows thoughtful analysis of practice including links to scholarly articles, EYLF, NQS and feedback from Mentor teacher Mentor report (or professional experience report) including signature of mentor teacher with his/her feedback Evaluation shows thoughtful analysis of continuity of children’s learning and targeted plan of action for future practice.
