This may seem a little wild that these 3 seemingly unconnected numbers- e, p, and i would be related in such a simple way, but it’s real and it’s pretty cool.
As you search around, you will likely find two types of explanations- one which uses the Maclaurin series expansions of e^x, sin(x) and cos(x) and others that try to give you a more intuitive understanding. Which approach did you like better? Did the series expansions help convince you that it was true, or did it still leave something to be desired in your understanding?
