YOUR TASK
Keeping a reflective learning log or journal within a professional setting is a rare
approach. However, organisations are starting to recognise the value of engaging with
this practice to support employees learning and development.
You have been asked to take part in a pilot of a new Learning and Development
initiative of ‘workplace reflection’. Using your current or past employment, you need to
reflect upon the current Business Communications module you have been studying and
write a 1,000 word reflective essay on learning styles and the factors that influence
communication and learning within the workplace.
